About The Department Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) is responsible for all major expansion activities within aseptic production, solid dosage forms, finished products, fill & finish warehousing, and QC across all production areas in Product Supply. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT and employs approximately 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees globally. FFEx designs, plans, and builds new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients, rethinking facilities with modern technology and adopting a global approach across multiple sites and cultures. The Position Coach, support & develop all necessary technical competencies of shift personnel to support the successful execution of processes. Relationships Reports to Manager, Technical Support (AP or FP). Essential Functions Improve MTTR for all production lines by owning & improving organization & clarity of parts & functional locations in SAP. Improve MWDs, FITs & other maintenance standards. Improve MTBF for all production lines by reviewing unplanned maintenance & improving maintenance plans. Move maintenance culture toward condition‑based & predictive maintenance. Drive planned maintenance efficiency through MN boards, MRP & maintenance reviews. Reduce maintenance cost by acting as site liaison for OEM—including parts complaints, ASL agreements, coordination with other sites & monthly meetings. Improve stakeholder relations with production teams, maintenance planning, reliability & metrology using the NN Way. Other accountabilities, as assigned. Physical Requirements Moves equipment or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds; operates and inspects manufacturing equipment; is on feet for up to a 12‑hour shift; may require corrected vision 20/25; may require color vision; occasionally ascends/descends a ladder or works at elevated heights; works around odorous or hazardous materials; may wear latex gloves; operates in cold environments; works in confined spaces; works in loud noise environments with hearing protection; works in outdoor weather conditions; may require powered industrial truck operation; does not require a valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a driving exam for powered industrial trucks. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or industry‑equivalent experience; preferred. Minimum of seven (7) years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing, or equivalent industry/military experience required. Experience driving process improvements/design using systematic methodologies; LEAN & Six Sigma strongly preferred. Experience creating or improving FITs/MWDs required. Knowledgeable in one or more high‑speed, automated systems: filling, formulation, inspection, assembly & packaging preferred. Able to develop & manage action plans to achieve targets preferred.
