About the Position
We are seeking a Family Resources Coordinators (FRC) to join our growing team. Family Resources Coordinators (FRCs) facilitate access to resources for families enrolled in Wonderland’s Early Support program. As a member of a transdisciplinary team, FRCs support the implementation of each family’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) by building strong, trusting relationships with families, coordinating resources, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to high-quality, family-centered service delivery.
This role requires strong organization, collaboration, adaptability, and a commitment to equity, professionalism, and continuous learning.
Pay and Location:
- This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of $29.00 - $31.00.
- This hybrid role is expected to be 50% remote / 50% in-person, subject to change based on family and agency need

Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license, current insurance, and reliable automobile.
- Ability to work actively in an office, family homes, and a variety of community settings.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, team-based environment.
- Demonstrated dependability, including consistent attendance, punctuality, and proactive communication with supervisors regarding schedule changes.
- Strong writing skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Commitment to equity-centered, trauma-informed practices in daily work.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Ability to adapt to changing family needs, service contexts, and program requirements with a solution-focused mindset.
- Maintenance of confidentiality and adherence to agency policies and professional standards.
- Responsible for maintaining FRC certification, including county-mandated and role-specific training.
- Current criminal background check maintained as required.
- Mandated reporter responsibilities: all Wonderland employees are required to report suspected child abuse or neglect to DCYF (CPS) and/or law enforcement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience working with young children (0–3) and families.
- Experience interviewing families and building trusting, collaborative relationships.
- Understanding of supporting children and families in natural learning environments.
- Basic understanding of coaching caregivers to build family capacity and confidence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
IFSP Coordination & Regulatory Compliance
- Contribute to the IFSP process by facilitating initial and review meetings, supporting the development of functional, resource-based outcomes aligned with Wonderland’s service model.
- Monitor timelines and documentation to ensure compliance with Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) and Part C regulations.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of regulatory agencies and clearly explain Part C and DDA requirements to families in a respectful, accessible manner.
Resource Navigation & Family Support
- Support families and team members with timely access to community resources, funding sources, and support, including but not limited to SSI, Medicaid, WIC, recreational programs, respite care, education support, cultural resources, and emergent needs.
- Maintain current knowledge of community resources through ongoing research, collaboration with community partners, and participation in resource sharing with the broader Family Support team.
- Proactively assess family needs and respond with appropriate referrals, follow-up, and coordination.
Transition Planning
- Guide families through transition planning in accordance with Part C timelines, including preparing families for referrals and supporting them through transition-related questions or concerns.
- Approach transition conversations with empathy, clarity, and responsiveness to family dynamics and changing needs.
Documentation, Data & Quality Productivity
- Complete accurate, timely data entry and data management in the state ESIT data system.
- Facilitate completion of required forms at initial, review, and exit IFSPs and participate in data collection related to program evaluation.
- Maintain organized, complete client files, including documentation of all FRC contacts, signed IFSPs, releases, reports, and other Part C-required materials.
- Independently manage assigned caseload, consistently meet deadlines (including monthly family contacts), and maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
Team Collaboration & Professional Conduct
- Participate actively and dependably in weekly staff and team meetings, presenting on cases as assigned and contributing thoughtfully to team discussions.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions with families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Maintain organized workspaces and always uphold confidentiality of client information.
- Represent Wonderland in a manner consistent with its mission, values, and service-oriented culture.
Additional Responsibilities
- Playgroup facilitation, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned in support of program and agency needs.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in an office environment, their home, and community settings. This role may occasionally require lifting items up to 30 pounds. The position involves prolonged sitting, reaching above the head, and use of a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day.
