• General Information


o Scanners: 5


o Will you accept a traveler with 1 year experience? No, 2-3 years minimum


o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
• Patient Types:


o Inpatient/Outpatient/ER: some peds (experience not needed), approximately 2-3 a month, usually teenagers; general anatomy, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, head


o Procedural: biopsies, drains
• Patient Ratios:


o 1:1
• Required Certifications:


o BLS, ARRT-CT
• Skills required


o General CT experience from a hospital setting, experience with the above patient types, experience with GE equipment (GE Revolution and Evo - preferred)
• Support on the Unit:


o Other CT techs


o Radiology RNs


o RRT, Code Blue team


o Centralized transport
• Charting System:


o EPIC
• Floating: If yes, where?


o None
• Orientation: (facility and unit)


o 3 shifts to learn the flow
• Scheduling:


o Weekend rotation: None
