Surgical Technologist II

Certified Surgical Technologist II (Open)
The Certified Surgical Technologist supports perioperative care, maintains sterile technique, assists surgical teams, and ensures quality patient outcomes. New hire sign on bonus of $20,000, up to $7,000 in relocation assistance is available.
The Certified Surgical Technologist:
- Participates in the delivery of individualized peri-operative registered nursing care under the supervision and guidance of a licensed physician or a registered professional nurse. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to assure quality patient care.
- Basic knowledge of instrumentations.
- Establish/Maintain sterile field and assure team maintains sterile environment.
- Demonstrates correct and safe instrumentation passing.
- Participants in surgical counts (sponge, needle and instruments), per policy
- Adheres to Policy and Procedures, all regulatory standards and Patient Safety Goals.
- Participates in the nursing process for patients of all ages served.
- Participates in unit educational activities.
Compensation Range:
$25.77 - $38.66
Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
