Bilingual Community Manager

Its portfolio spans multifamily, single‑family home rentals, affordable housing, build‑to‑rent, active‑adult, and student housing divisions. Role Overview The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. The role includes managing personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration, and risk management and ensuring compliance with Asset policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Personnel Management Regular/daily onsite attendance required Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff using company techniques and directives Provide ongoing training, coaching, counseling, and guidance in compliance with training benchmarks Create weekly/daily schedules and assignments for office and maintenance staff Address performance problems, document appropriately, and coordinate with direct supervisor and HR for resolution or termination Promote harmony and quality job performance through support and effective leadership Ensure staff compliance with corporate policies and procedures Financial Management Achieve highest possible net operating income through cost control, revenue enhancement, and leasing improvement Develop yearly operating budgets and forecasts Monitor timely receipt, reconciliation, and coding of deposits, rent collections, charges, and vendor invoices Ensure timely property close‑out and accurate financial reports to owners Strategic Leasing Management Develop yearly marketing plan and implement marketing strategies and systems Ensure effective leasing techniques, follow‑up procedures, and accurate reporting of lease documentation Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction Create and implement resident retention programs (functions, promotions, newsletters, etc.) Show, lease, and move in prospective residents Administrative & Maintenance Management Ensure accurate, complete, and timely administrative and leasing reporting Lead emergency team and manage emergency responses per company guidelines Maintain excellent customer service and monitor maintenance service requests turnaround time Maintain property appearance and ensure timely repairs via inspections and tours Plan and use property resources, equipment, and supplies economically, including vendor bids and service quality Direct and monitor maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities for quality and expediency Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in the housing industry, or one‑two years related experience or equivalent education/experience combination Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred Basic computer skills and understanding of all on‑site software functions required Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements Bilingual candidates preferred Physical Requirements Regular standing, hand use, reaching, talking, hearing; frequent walking and sitting; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 25 pounds May be required to perform any physical tasks needed to meet essential job functions; reasonable accommodations may be provided for disabilities License / Equipment Reliable transportation required due to emergency on‑call duties Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $80,000 per year to $85,000 per year.
