Human Resources Operations ManagerThe Human Resources Operations Manager supervises HR operations staff and daily departmental workflow, ensuring peak efficiency at a community health center with sites in Lower Manhattan and Jackson Heights, Queens. Their role focuses on implementing and refining core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, payroll, benefits, training, and employee relations.Job DutiesCollaborate with senior staff on strategies for staff retention, professional development, and optimization of productivity and quality of care outcomesOversee the updating and implementation of onboarding, orientation, training, and staff safety programManage HRIS updates, reporting, and employee recordsCoordinate payroll, benefits administration, and offboarding processesSupport employee and labor relations, including oversight of a system for performance appraisals, staff recognition, counseling, and grievancesEnsure compliance with Workers' Compensation and employment regulationsQualificationsAt least 10 years' experience managing HR processesAt least 3 years in a supervisory position, preferably in a health care settingSHRM certification preferredSkilled in HRIS utilization and benefits administrationFamiliarity with unionized environments
