Job Description Job Description Controller We are working with a growing construction / make-to-order manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations. This role owns the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of the company’s financial systems and reporting. Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day accounting (AP, AR, payroll, GL), directly or via outsourced partners Own and manage Acumatica ERP and QuickBooks Online , ensuring data accuracy Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting Prepare cash flow planning and support executive decision-making Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Manage compliance deadlines (tax, payroll, insurance) and corporate insurance Identify and correct process gaps, risks, and inefficiencies Requirements: 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience Hands-on Acumatica ERP experience (required) Experience with QuickBooks Online Percentage-of-completion accounting experience (required) Background in construction and/or make-to-order manufacturing accounting Strong ownership mentality and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
