Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a Lab Technician III to support a Bioanalytical laboratory team with routine and non-routine analytical testing and laboratory activities. This is approximately 80% hands‑on lab work and 20% documentation/support . The ideal candidate will have a Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related science background and hands‑on experience with basic laboratory techniques. Strong recent graduates with relevant laboratory experience may also be considered. Key Responsibilities Perform hands‑on lab activities including pipetting, sample preparation, weighing, solution/standard preparation, and centrifugation . Support scientists with routine and non‑routine analytical testing. Perform and learn various analytical techniques. Support HPLC testing and Empower when applicable. Maintain reagents, glassware, equipment, and general lab organization. Document experiments and results using ELN/eLN . Follow laboratory safety, SOP, GLP/GMP, and quality requirements. Required BS/MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology , or related field. 1-3 years of hands‑on laboratory experience ; strong recent graduates may be considered. Experience with pipetting, sample preparation, solution/standard preparation, weighing, and centrifugation . Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork. Ability to work 100% onsite in Lake County, IL . Preferred HPLC and Empower Pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience Bioanalytical/analytical testing Protein/biologics or small‑molecule experience GLP/GMP/cGMP experience SEC, CEX, chromatography , or spectroscopy Note: HPLC and Empower are preferred but can be trained.
