Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Laser Department for our client. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal components. This role loads and unloads materials, inspects finished parts, performs basic machine maintenance, and ensures production requirements are met while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Operate and monitor laser cutting equipment.
• Load and unload metal materials onto the machine.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Read and follow work orders and production instructions.
• Remove, sort, and stack finished parts.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
• Assist in other production areas as needed.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable with good attendance.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and cross-train in other departments.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
