An established boutique law firm in Downtown Atlanta is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate & Transactional Paralegal to join its close-knit team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CRE paralegal looking for a steady desk, comfortable workload, and excellent work environment, with the opportunity to expand into M&A and other transactional matters.

The role primarily supports two attorneys and is fully onsite. The firm offers medical and dental insurance, paid Downtown parking, 3 weeks of PTO, and a stable, low-turnover work environment.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial real estate transactions from due diligence through closing.
• Review ALTA surveys, title commitments, legal descriptions, title exceptions, and pro forma policies.
• Assist with title curative matters and execution and recording of transactional documents.
• Maintain transaction checklists, site trackers, title spreadsheets, and electronic data rooms.
• Prepare and edit routine transactional and closing documents.
• Assist with M&A, financing, corporate, and other transactional matters as needed.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, title companies, surveyors, and other transaction parties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal experience with a strong commercial real estate background.
• Experience with title and survey review and title curative matters.
• M&A or other transactional experience is a plus; willingness to learn is welcomed.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and a go-getter, team-oriented mentality.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word formatting/editing and Excel.
