Billing Specialist - Oregon/Washington

Responsible for all phases of billing and account follow-up, the full-time Billing Specialist - Oregon/Washington will work remotely to ensure thorough resolution of outstanding charges, manage claims submissions, and address reimbursement issues for a multi-facility organization. Key responsibilities Resolve insurance claim rejections, denials, and non-payment issues with payors Identify trends in billing to expedite resolution and improve processing times Draft appeals to insurance companies for reimbursement of owed amounts Required qualifications High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or insurance account follow-up Formal training or coursework in medical billing may substitute for experience Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and billing regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to operate general office equipment
