Senior Microsoft .NET / Power Platform Developer
Austin, TX | Hybrid | Must Live in the Austin Area | 12+ Month Contract

iSphere is looking for a Senior Microsoft Developer who is just as comfortable building a .NET application from the ground up as they are designing Power Automate workflows that keep people from doing the same thing manually 400 times.

This role is centered around the Microsoft stack, with a heavy focus on .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, Angular or Blazor, and Power Platform. The team needs someone senior enough to help shape architecture, work through technical decisions, and still stay close to the code.

You will work with business analysts and other developers to design and build applications, APIs, workflows, reporting, and integrations. Some of the work will be traditional custom development. Some will live in Power Platform. The important part is knowing when each approach makes sense instead of trying to force every problem into the same tool.

What we need:

• 12+ years of ASP.NET Framework experience, including strong ASP.NET Core experience building RESTful APIs
• 10+ years with SQL Server, database design, schema design, stored procedures, SSRS, and Entity Framework
• 10+ years of front-end development experience across HTML, TypeScript, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Blazor, or React
• 7+ years of Entity Framework Core experience
• 5+ years of unit testing experience, including nUnit
• Strong application architecture experience, including building projects from scratch, with that experience clearly reflected within the last 3 years
• 3+ years working with SSIS packages, cron jobs, schedulers, and background jobs
• 3+ years with Angular CLI, Angular Material, RxJS, and Blazor
• 2+ years with Microsoft Power Platform, including Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Experience with Dynatrace, Windows Server troubleshooting, event logs, and application performance monitoring

You will build and maintain ASP.NET Core applications, develop Web APIs, design database schemas, create Power Automate workflows, and help develop user interfaces using Angular 18 and Blazor. You will also support Power BI reporting, troubleshoot application and performance issues, write integration and unit tests, and help establish architecture for new development efforts.

ArcGIS experience is preferred, but not required.

This is a good fit for someone who has been around the Microsoft stack long enough to know that "full stack" should mean more than having touched the front end once. You should be comfortable moving between application architecture, APIs, SQL, UI development, Power Platform, testing, and troubleshooting without needing each piece handed off to somebody else.
