Ultrasound Technologist PositionThe Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital in Helena, MT to find service-oriented Ultrasound Technologists who are passionate about patient care and advanced imaging technology. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you'll provide high-quality patient care while performing a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures. In this role, you'll work closely with physicians, patients, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure accurate imaging, exceptional patient experiences, and compliance with quality and safety standards. Schedule: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PRN & Afternoon shifts availableWhat You'll Do Essential ResponsibilitiesVerify patient identity and review exam orders for accuracy & safetyGuide patients through procedures with compassion and professionalismPerform high-quality 2D and 3D ultrasound examinationsEnsures timely, accurate image transfer to PACS and resolves system issuesComplete imaging measurements, documentation, and reporting in accordance with protocolsPrepare medications, supplies, and equipment using sterile technique when appropriateAssist physicians with ultrasound guidance during interventional proceduresEnsure patient safety, perform procedural timeouts, and maintain regulatory complianceCollaborate with leadership on scheduling, coordination, protocol development & patient flowParticipate in CQI, QA, accreditation, and departmental improvement projectsAssist with staff training, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and other duties as assignedWhat We Are Looking For QualificationsGraduate of an approved AMA school Ultrasound Technology programEligible for national sonography registriesARDMS certification preferred (Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular)Current BLS certification required2+ years of ultrasound experience, including Pediatrics and OBProficiency in multiple ultrasound modalities, RIS, HIS, and PACS systemsExperience assisting physicians with thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, and related proceduresCompetency in operating ultrasound equipmentExperience in both inpatient and outpatient settingsWhat You Can Expect: BenefitsCompetitive CompensationMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceLong & Short-Term Disability Coverage, HSA& FSA OptionsGenerous PTO, Vacation days, holidays & sick leaveTuition Assistance & Reimbursement403(b) Retirement Plan with 3% employer matchCafeteria, Health Club Membership & Affordable Child CareSuccess Share Payout Compensation is reviewed annually to remain competitive with industry standards.If you're a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist, we encourage you to apply today and join a team committed to excellence in patient care.
