IS Technician - Shipping/Receiving

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and inventory IT/IS hardware using designated inventory systems
• Ship IT hardware according to scheduled deadlines and service requests
• Unpack, pick, pack, and prepare equipment for shipment to field technicians and stores
• Process outgoing and returned equipment accurately and in a timely manner
• Record and maintain accurate serial numbers and asset tracking information
• Ensure proper handling of equipment using UPS and other shipping methods
• Maintain clean, organized, and orderly work areas
• Follow verbal and written instructions for equipment movement and processing
• Support overall logistics workflow for IT hardware distribution and returns

Skills:

• Inventory management systems experience
• Shipping and receiving operations
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Physical handling of hardware equipment
• Organizational and time management skills???
• Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience
• Ability to work onsite full-time
• Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs with assistance
• Ability to accurately read, write, and count
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
