Ophthalmic Technician (Part-Time) Jamaica Plain, MA Anodyne is seeking a skilled and dependable Ophthalmic Technician (OT) to work 8 hours per week under the direct supervision of an ophthalmologist and/or optometrist. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional looking for a flexible, part-time schedule in a supportive clinical environment. Responsibilities Conduct visual acuity testing Perform visual field testing Complete lensometry, auto refractometry, and refractometry Assess pupils and extraocular motility Conduct gross external examinations Perform applanation tonometry and Tonopen testing Administer eye drop instillation Maintain exam room equipment and supplies Oversee inventory management Maintain accurate and organized patient medical records Support efficient clinical workflow and patient care Schedule Part-Time: 8 hours per week No nights or weekends Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in an ophthalmic or healthcare-related setting preferred JCAHPO certification required Compensation Competitive pay rate based on experience If you are detail-oriented, patient-focused, and passionate about eye care, we would love to hear from you.
