Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient scheduling and follow-up appointments.
• Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health systems.
• Communicate with patients to gather medical history and provide information on services.
• Perform administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance verification.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Stay updated on medical terminology and healthcare practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Proven experience in a medical assistant role or similar healthcare position.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR).
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and healthcare software applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Compensation: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
