Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5 x 8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)

Experience: 1 year minimum, first-timers accepted

License: South Carolina RN License preferred, consideration for pending applications

Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association), CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) acceptable

Must-Have: - Pediatric/Adult Transplant R/L Biopsy experience - Balloon, Stent, Valve Placement experience - EP experience preferred

Description: The position requires a Pediatric Cath Lab Tech. The shift is during the day from 07:00 to 15:30. On-call duty is required with 8-10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage. Preferred experience includes Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab. Expected cases include congenital heart patients, heart catheter procedures, and biopsies. The job is located in a Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Facility. The cath lab has two rooms available for procedures. The facility can call off one shift per every two weeks. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Travelers should be prepared for emergency response assignments during hurricane season. Compliance labs are required to be completed in a timely manner. Modules may be non-billable, averaging four hours spent. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting. The unit focuses on patient care for pediatric and adult patients. Candidates should have experience in cardiac stent placements and diagnostic catheterizations for both adults and pediatrics.
