Bilingual Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant

$18 - $20 per hour

The HT Group

The HT Group is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) TEMP Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant to provide temporary coverage in our clients office located in downtown Houston.
This position does not involve pleadings and is focused on pre-litigation case support, client interaction, and administrative coordination in a fast-paced personal injury environment.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with Spanish-speaking and English-speaking clients regarding pre-litigation accident claims
Support the pre-litigation team in managing an active MVA docket
Gather, organize, and maintain case documentation including medical records and bills
Communicate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and third parties
Assist with preparing demand packages and other pre-litigation materials
Update and maintain case management systems accurately and consistently
Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and case deadlines
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the legal team
Requirements:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Prior experience in personal injury pre-litigation strongly preferred
Experience working with motor vehicle accident (MVA) cases a plus
Strong communication and client service skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple active files
Comfortable working in a team-based, fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems preferred
Job Title: Bilingual Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant (Temporary Coverage – 6 Weeks)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Pay Rate: $18-$20hr (DOE)
Duration: Temporary assignment (approximately 6 weeks) beginning the end of June
