Patent Litigation Associate An established firm based in Irvine with over 10 years in practice is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 2+ years of experience to join their team. This attorney will have experience with patent litigation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters. Qualifications: Possesses a J.D. from an accredited law school. Holds an active license in CA or is eligible for admission. Has 2+ years of experience in patent litigation. Has experience with claim construction, motion practice, depositions, and discovery. Has strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Shows the ability to manage deadlines, collaborate with team members, and interact with clients. Has a technical background or relevant industry experience preferred but not required. Responsibilities: Assist in all phases of patent litigation including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, memoranda, and litigation-related documents. Participate in depositions, hearings, and court conferences as appropriate. Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and case management. Analyze technical materials and coordinate with experts when necessary.
