About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the engineering vision, architecture, and execution as the organization continues to scale. The CTO will be a key leader, responsible for building and leading a high-performing, globally distributed engineering team. This pivotal role involves defining and owning the multi-year technology roadmap, evaluating and evolving the technology stack, and championing product stability and platform resilience. The successful candidate will also be tasked with leading engineering best practices, driving cross-border collaboration, and ensuring operational excellence through the management of engineering KPIs, security, and compliance. Applicants for the CTO position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior technology leadership role at a SaaS company. The role requires a proven track record in leading distributed engineering teams, particularly those with a presence in India, and experience in scaling engineering organizations through various growth stages. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in modern web architecture, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data security, as well as experience in AI/ML product features and driving AI adoption within an engineering organization. The CTO will be expected to partner with executive leadership on business strategy, so excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders are essential.
