Bakery Manager

Summary Oversees the bakery operation of the store to ensure all budgeted financial objectives and departmental product quality and presentation standards are achieved, promoting optimal sales opportunities. Ensures all corporate and state sanitation procedures and regulations are met. Supervises and directs the work of bakery personnel. Provides fast, friendly, helpful & efficient service to all customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage day-to-day department operations: supervise staff, schedule and staff department to meet business needs, hire, train and develop staff, document performance, recommend disciplinary actions, enforce dress code, customer service expectations, safety/sanitation laws, company policies, C.H.O.P.S behaviors, 5S standards, corporate code of conduct. Monitor, control and achieve pre-established financial results: Payroll, Sales, Gross Profit, CTO, Shrink, Inventory levels. Appropriate merchandising: display products per corporate planograms and special programs, express knowledge to customers, maintain shelf and display conditions, ensure stock levels especially sale items, maintain proper item rotation, comply with corporate, federal and state signing policies and regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Pay Range $22.50 - $29.25 Sign on Bonus $1,500 Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of related experience. Strong communication skills. Basic computer skills. Satisfactory performance reviews.
