Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced midlevel associate to join their Corporate M&A team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in Corporate M&A, with a preference for those with private equity transaction experience. Duties Draft, review, and negotiate merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, and related documents. Manage and close M&A and related transactions. Conduct legal due diligence. Advise clients on general corporate and business matters. Work with partnership agreements, joint ventures, and LLC operating agreements. Handle representation and warranty insurance underwriting issues. Requirements Three to five years of Corporate M&A experience. Private equity experience preferred. Strong academic credentials. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex agreements. Effective client management and communication abilities.
