At Bartow Regional Medical Center, you get personalized, quality health care from a compassionate, experienced team.Position Details:Facility: BayCare Health System - Respiratory Care ServicesLocation: Bartow Regional Medical CenterStatus: Full Time, Exempt: NoShift Hours: 6:30AM - 7:00PMShift: DaysWeekend Work: Every OtherOn Call: NoJob Summary:The Registered Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to access, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.Responsibilities:Delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.Perform diagnostic testing; and Emergency care/Adult critical care.Certification and Licensures Required:RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist License)Active NBRC Credential for RRTCPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)BLS (Basic Life Support)NRP (Neonatal) - within 6 months of start dateACLS (Cardiovascular)PALS (Pediatric) - within 6 months of start dateEducation Required:Technical Respiratory Therapy DegreeAssociates Degree - Respiratory TherapyExperience Required:6 months minimumSpecific Skills Required:Clinical and computer skills appropriate to the positionCollaborate and work well with a teamCritical thinking skillsAdvanced Respiratory Assessment and EvaluationsBe a part of an organization that is committed to encouraging a culture of inclusion that's reflective of the communities we serve.
