Job Summary and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer or Director of Nursing, you will oversee the Bariatric and Colorectal programs. Your role will involve:

• Providing nursing leadership for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in assigned areas, with 24-hour accountability.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to address patient and family needs.
• Developing guidelines, conducting necessary research, and monitoring patient outcomes.
• Marketing the product line and implementing successful initiatives to increase program volume.
• Ensuring compliance with all Standards of Center of Excellence to apply for and maintain certification.
• Acting as the Clinical Reviewer, managing data quality to meet certification standards.
• Managing resources responsibly and supporting the hospital's mission in line with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting employment.
• A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• No travel is required for this role.
