Architectural CAD Designer

Founded in 2009 in Chicago’s northwest suburbs and expanding to the Detroit metro area in 2013, Matrix Basement Systems is the largest basement finishing contractor in the country.

We are looking to hire a full time CAD drafter at our Livonia MI location. With a very competitive compensation plan to offer and a wonderful work environment, we are certain the next CAD Drafter will be happy to continue their respective career here at Matrix.

The key function of the role is drawing plans, executing revisions, as well as helping with material ordering, spec sheets and other tasks related to pre-production. All CAD for this position is done using Chief Architect.

Experience Needed

1-3 years’ experience working professionally is a bonus, but the position is open to students looking to start their career.
Students should have completed some form of a construction documentation class or higher.

Requirements

Proficient AutoCAD, 20/20, kitchen pro, sketch up, revit or other CAD programs

-3D modeling and Adobe Suite knowledge is a plus

-Proficient in Office Suite (excel, word, outlook, etc)

- Proficient experience with Chief Architect is required.

-Compensations will vary based on experience.
