Clinical Operations Resource Registered Nurse Per Diem Shift Details Night shift, some PM shifts, holiday and weekend shifts. Pay Range $41.10 - $61.65 per hour Responsibilities Coordinate staffing and resource distribution with the Patient Command Center to ensure safe and efficient patient throughput. Oversee labor utilization, ensuring HPPD and LCE targets are met in collaboration with unit charge nurses. Participate in daily safety and capacity huddles and make staffing recommendations based on competencies and regulatory requirements. Solicit and assess customer (patient, visitor, physician, staff) feedback through assessments and rounds, offering improvement suggestions. Develop, implement, and track quality improvement activities aligned with overall quality goals and regulatory standards. Monitor departmental productivity metrics using data reports and technology, assessing work‑hour and labor cost efficiency. Update AdvocateWorks schedules in response to staffing fluctuations and census changes. Correspond with outside agencies to manage agency resources as needed. Address and resolve conflicts between patients, families, and providers. Respond to patient and family needs during stressful or crisis situations. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Resolve patient, customer, and associate complaints promptly and effect appropriate action plans. Hold associates accountable for customer service standards and continuous improvement. Manage emergency situations and mobilize resources following FEMA guidelines as part of the incident command team. Support team engagement: provide input on learning and development needs, mentor staff, recognize achievements, and participate in hospital committees. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. BSN degree required. Minimum of four years of inpatient/acute care nursing experience. Prior charge nurse or leadership experience. Specialty certification per hospital requirements; Board certification strongly encouraged within 2 years. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong clinical skills.
