Mandatory Experience:

Urgent Care Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
Schedule: 2x12hr + 2x8hr (Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat /// OFF Sun, Tues, Wed)
Monday: 7:45a - 8:15p
Thursday: 7:45a - 8:15p
Friday: 9:00a - 5:30p
Saturday: 7:45a - 4:15p
Experience: 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic setting
Weekend REQ: Yes, every Saturday (OFF Sundays)
Required Skills:

Vital Signs: Height/Weight, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Obtain Vital Signs, Pulse Oximetry, Vision testing
Prepare for Exam: Record History/Medications/Allergies
Set Up and Assist with Procedures: Nebulizer Treatments
Injections: Immunizations, Intramuscular
Specimen Collection: Labeling of specimens, Throat, Urine - UA/Clean Catch
Laboratory Tests: Blood Glucose via Glucometer, Pregnancy, Strep, Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis
Office Duties: Stocking Supplies
Professional Knowledge and Skills: Administering Medication, Ear Lavage, Rooming Patients
Type of Facility: Urgent Care Clinic
Charting: EPIC (experience REQUIRED)
