Position Title: Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will own key accounting functions, lead the month-end close process, support financial planning and forecasting, and provide valuable insights that help guide business decisions. Salary Range: $105,000 – $120,000 / Year DOE

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Own month-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage work papers and assist in onboarding and offboarding processes
• Conduct financial projections and oversee accounts payable
• Handle cash flow management and related banking activities
• Analyze pricing strategies and margins for ad hoc projects

Accounting Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years of accounting management experience in a company with revenue of $5 million or more
• Exposure to deferred revenue, multi-state payroll, and accrual accounting with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Tech-focused with a willingness to embrace new technology implementations
• Understanding of cash flow and projections, with the ability to gather necessary data
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and XLOOKUP
• Must possess a BA or BS degree
• CPA certification is preferred
• Experience in a professional services firm is a plus
• Familiarity with partnership-type structures is advantageous
• Experience with Power BI is preferred
• BA in accounting is preferred
