NOW HIRING: CNC Machinists, Setup Technicians & Programmers

$28–$48/hr DOE | Hillsboro, OR | Multiple Shifts Available

Available Positions:

CNC Setup Technician
$28–$38/hr DOE
Monday–Thursday | 4:15 PM – 2:45 AM

CNC Machinist
$28–$32/hr DOE
Monday–Thursday | 4:15 PM – 2:45 AM

5-Axis CNC Machinist (Day Shift)
$38–$42/hr
Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

5-Axis CNC Machinist (Weekend Shift)
$38–$42/hr
Friday–Sunday | 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM

CNC Programmer
$80,000–$95,000/year DOE
Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

CNC Machinist / 5-Axis Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers.
• Produce precision components from start to finish.
• Perform tooling, fixture, and workholding setups.
• Make program edits and adjustments to improve quality and efficiency.
• Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and height gauges.
• Perform in-process inspections and maintain tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, chatter, and dimensional concerns.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Programming teams.

CNC Setup Technician Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC machines with proper tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
• Verify programs and run first-article parts.
• Establish work offsets and confirm machine accuracy.
• Perform setup troubleshooting and support CNC operators.
• Read job travelers, setup sheets, and technical documentation.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.

CNC Programmer Responsibilities:

• Program CNC parts for vertical, horizontal, and 5-axis machining centers.
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.
• Develop tooling strategies, fixtures, setup sheets, and documentation.
• Interpret blueprints, models, and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and improve processes.
• Work closely with machinists, engineering, and quality teams.

Qualifications:

✅ CNC machining experience required
✅ Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining
✅ Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining processes
✅ Ability to use precision inspection equipment
✅ Experience with G-code and CNC controls preferred
✅ Blueprint reading and GD&T experience preferred for advanced roles
✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
✅ Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
