Tire Technician

Pay: $18.00+ / hour

Schedule: Monday–Saturday (One weekday off will be assigned each week in addition to Sundays.)

Position Summary:

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established automotive service company to hire a Tire Technician. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair tires and wheels while providing outstanding customer service. No previous tire experience is required—paid, on-the-job training is provided, along with opportunities for long-term career growth and advancement.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, rotate, and maintain passenger vehicle tires.
• Mount, dismount, and rebalance wheels.
• Install, rebuild, relearn, and calibrate TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems).
• Wash and inspect tires and wheels.
• Test and install automotive batteries.
• Safely operate tire service equipment and shop tools.
• Assist other technicians and team members as needed.
• Test drive customer vehicles.
• Operate company service vehicles for roadside and off-site emergency service calls.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build customer relationships.
• Promote store products and services while helping customers find the best tire solution

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to frequently lift 35–75 pounds .
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, reach, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
• Previous tire experience is not required
