Physical Therapist (PT)

Join a dynamic team focused on enhancing the lives of patients in a rehabilitation setting. This position is ideal for a skilled Physical Therapist passionate about working with an adult patient population, including individuals recovering from stroke, brain injuries, amputation, and other neurological disorders.

Position Overview

This role involves providing exceptional care in a free-standing inpatient rehabilitation environment. You will work closely with a cohesive team, ensuring collaboration between therapy and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to adult patients.
Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Utilize specialized equipment, including Lite Gait, Biodex, and Zero-G.
Document patient progress using electronic health records.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient recovery.

Patient Population

Focus on a diverse range of cases including:

Stroke recovery
Traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries
Debility and amputation
Neurological disorders such as myopathy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease
Cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Indiana.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
Educational requirement: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Work Environment

Work in a supportive atmosphere with a patient-to-staff ratio of 5:1, ensuring personalized attention for each patient.

Dress Code

Expected attire includes Caribbean blue scrubs. Please refrain from wearing blue jeans or other unacceptable attire.
