Join us.Job Summary:Manufacturing Technicians are part of teams that design, develop, and manufacture electronic and software systems according to the medical device product requirements and specifications. Manufacturing Technicians work alongside both the NPI engineering teams and the production teams to assist with issues that occur prior to or during production.Manufacturing Technician may help provide work direction to the device assemblers in order to meet our customers' needs and values by delivering quality product and services.The Manufacturing Technician may help to identify resources or needs for troubleshooting and rework of printed circuit boards.The Manufacturing Technician can perform all tasks of the team to manufacture and test electro-mechanical software-based devices according to product requirements and specifications – and may rotate through all of them.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Test, troubleshoot, assemble, and rework of electronic systemsProvide work direction when neededPerform checklist duties and database transactions on any assembly built by another personIdentify assembly and test issues and suggest improvementsReinforce overall compliance with general standards and proceduresCommunicate work direction, issues, and solutions to Assemblers and associated teamsTackles problems and take independent action when faced with production roadblocksRecognize issues and respond systematically to discover root cause of issuesOther duties as assignedQualifications and Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree in an applicable field preferred3-5 years of experience in the field of electronics design, assembly, or testing requiredSkilled in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment or skilled in soldering of electronic componentsAbility to work well both within teams and individuallySkilled in the use of computers and ability to adapt to new technology with easeAbility to effectively motivate and lead a team towards a common goalAbility to read and accurately follow proceduresStrong leadership abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsWorking Conditions:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Subject to Mandatory Overtime requirements based on business demandsMust Be Authorized to work in the United StatesOffice EnvironmentPay: $29-$33/HrEEO StatementForj Medical provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
