Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of cardiac experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

Job Details

• Telemetry unit within a hospital setting providing cardiac care,
• 24-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio,
• Patient population includes generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adults to elderly adults,
• Common diagnoses include chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and pre/post care for cardiac catheterizations (groin & radial), and VATS,
• Uses Life Pak, Zoll, Masimo, and Cerner equipment,
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM,
• Required to work every other weekend,
• May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units,

Job Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• Associate's degree required,
• Cerner EMR experience required,

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients, including monitoring and pre/post procedural care,
• Family-oriented unit culture,
• Scrub color is unrestricted,
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate,
• Previous perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not permitted,
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
