Job Description

The largest System of Federally Qualified Community Health Centers in Alabama is looking for a primary care physician for its Talladega, Heflin, and Walnut Grove locations.

About the Opportunity

Monday – Friday, 8A to 5P practice – strictly outpatient setting
No weekends or holidays
Work up to 25 patients per day – a mix of scheduled and walk-in patients
Experienced general practitioners will be considered
Epic EMR
Candidates should be able to see patients of all ages, although with minimal pediatrics
Solid financial package depending on training and experience level

About the Location

Talladega, Alabama, is a historic city of approximately 15,861 residents (2020 census) located in the Appalachian foothills, best known as the home of the high-speed Talladega Superspeedway. As the seat of Talladega County, it features a historic downtown, the oldest courthouse in Alabama, and Talladega College. The cost of living is below the national average, making it a relatively affordable community, though historically diverse.
