PALS (Required)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Training (Required)

Practice Overview

Setting

Inpatient Psychiatric Unit

Patient Population

Ages 10 through Geriatric
Primarily Adult Patients

Clinical Responsibilities

Family Medicine coverage within an inpatient psychiatric setting
Admissions
Assigned and unassigned patient rounding
Medical management and evaluation of psychiatric inpatients
Collaboration with interdisciplinary treatment teams

Patient Volume

Approximately 52 patients per shift

Board Certified FNP-BC

CPI-trained and confident working with behavioral health populations
