Direct Sales Rep - CCI

Cox Communications, Inc. is looking for a dynamic individual to join their Sales team as a Direct Sales Rep - CCI. This position requires a residential sales role with door-to-door sales, and candidates must live in the Newport News, Virginia area.

The Residential Door to Door Sales Representative will channel their energy and entrepreneurial spirit into extraordinary sales experiences, helping customers with Cox's cutting-edge products and services. This consultative sales role involves selling Cox data, video, and mobile services to residential customers while managing an assigned territory.

Responsibilities include generating new leads, sales, and upgrades through sales prospecting, referrals, partner relationships, and door-to-door canvassing and networking. The role also involves working with homeowner associations, multi-dwelling unit managers, leasing agents, and others to help generate sales, assisting with training new hires, and partnering with leadership to unearth new approaches to growth. Evening and weekend hours may be required to maximize customer contact opportunities.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $27,500.00 - $41,300.00, with an annual incentive/commission target of $32,496.00. There is also a sign-on bonus of $2000 for eligible external candidates and $1000 for eligible internal candidates, paid in two increments.

The targeted total compensation may vary based on factors including location, candidate experience level, and successful completion of minimum sales targets. There is potential to earn up to and beyond $99,813 annually as a high performer. Employees are provided with a two-month ramp-up period during which they earn full commission.
