SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE HIRED ON A YEAR ONLY CONTRACT - CONTRACT RENEWAL FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR WILL BE DONE IN THE SPRING AND CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS BASED ON DEPARTMENT NEEDS AND BOARD OF EDUCATION APPROVAL

Salary:
The minimum starting pay is $67,374*/year and the maximum salary is $84,831*/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).

Job Description: High School Counselor

Qualifications and Expectations:

1. MA/MS from accredited college or university
2. Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment: 0-21 School Counselor
3. Experience with Concurrent Enrollment Advising
4. Experience as 504 Coordinator
5. Experience with Social and Emotional Student Support
6. Experience as Testing Coordinator
