Location UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center, Steamboat Springs, CO Department YVMC Pharmacy Work Schedule Full Time, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift Day and Evening Rotation Pay $59.80 - $83.72 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Position Summary We are seeking a versatile and self‑directed Pharmacist to support both our inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services. This role requires a high level of autonomy, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to manage responsibilities independently while maintaining strong communication with the broader care team. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy. State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification and/or relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level. Preferences Active pharmacist licensure in Colorado and Wyoming (or eligibility to obtain both). Flexibility in scheduling, as shifts may include day, evening, or night hours, along with participation in an inpatient weekend rotation. Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices. Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions. Stay current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education. Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care to ensure optimal outcomes.
