Job TitleSenior Marketing SpecialistJob Description SummaryThe Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for the intake of new projects, execution of business development strategies, messaging, content curation, and deliverable design oversight. Daily responsibilities include pitch and proposal writing, development and execution, interfacing with internal clients (fee-earners) to understand requirements and approach as well as other general marketing and communications efforts as needed. This position will work collaboratively with the Southeast Regional Marketing Lead, graphic design and research professionals, as well as fee-earners. The Senior Marketing Specialist is ultimately accountable for providing an exceptional level of marketing support and expertise and calls for excellent writing and proofreading abilities.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Business Development-Oversee all aspects of the pitch and/or proposal coordination while learning and embracing C&W’s Business Development approachManage incoming requests from fee-earners or collect information and scope of services pertinent to the requestLead the strategic direction for the messaging, content, and marketing materials to be developed, following the guidelines of C&W’s BD approachDrive and manage pitch and/or proposal strategy and process, including the following:Deliverables ownedKey activities or analysis for considerationCoordination of marketing responsibilitiesInput provided to other teams/personnelCollaboration across multiple functionsFinal output managementWrite and prepare proposals and review with fee-earners and key responsible affiliatesFacilitate review of materials and address any feedback from fee-earners and stakeholdersEnsure the delivery of a clean final product to fee-earner or clientSupport multiple projects working with various professionals across the C&W platformEnsure development of agreed upon expectations, timelines and project milestones with project team at project outset, and ensure management of those expectations, timelines and milestones throughout the processDebrief with brokerage teams to understand why we either won or lost the opportunityGeneral Marketing-Execute Marketing and Communications plan in support of the local marketing and business objectivesPartner with research to uncover and develop impactful thought leadership pieces that are relevant to client and industry needsProduce creative collateral to support the business, ensuring alignment with company's brand positioning from concept to final product; utilize available creative programsContent development required to support corporate PR strategy as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or related discipline preferred5+ years of business development and marketing experienceStrong background in B2B proposal writing and/or business development marketingExceptional written communication skillsStrong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
