About the Role

\n

We are seeking a Portfolio Program Manager to join the Delivery Management Office (DMO) supporting the Accounting IT and Accounting business divisions.

\n

\n

This role will connect business strategy, technology initiatives, and project execution, ensuring projects are aligned with organizational priorities. You’ll oversee a portfolio of projects, partner with Project Managers and business leaders, and provide strategic guidance around prioritization, risks, dependencies, and execution.

\n

\n

The organization is also transitioning toward Agile ways of working, making this an opportunity to help bring structure, consistency, and collaboration to the portfolio.

\n

\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Manage and provide oversight for a portfolio of projects and initiatives.
\n
• Partner with business and technology leaders to align projects with strategic priorities.
\n
• Provide guidance, governance, and prioritization across multiple projects.
\n
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure alignment with strategy, processes, and timelines.
\n
• Provide portfolio-level oversight for complex initiatives, including an S/4HANA upgrade and other business transformation efforts.
\n
• Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, competing priorities, and opportunities.
\n
• Provide visibility and coordination across related projects and initiatives.
\n
• Support the organization’s transition toward Agile practices.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 7+ years of experience in program management, portfolio management, PMO/DMO, or a similar role.
\n
• Experience overseeing multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously.
\n
• Strong understanding of how technology initiatives support broader business strategy.
\n
• Experience providing direction, governance, prioritization, and strategic alignment to Project Managers.
\n
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams.
\n
• Ability to operate strategically while understanding project-level execution.
\n
• Experience working in an organization adopting or transitioning toward Agile practices.
\n
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
