Traveling OB/GYN Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech

We’re excited to announce an opening for an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist in Reno, NV. You will perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in making diagnostic decisions while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures. The role involves performing and reporting sonographic exams, participating in obstetrical procedures for ultrasound guidance, preparing preliminary reports, and maintaining clinical and equipment quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required. RVT registry preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OB/GYN or Perinatal Sonographer, with experience performing clinic and inpatient scans and experience in Women’s Health required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Nuchal Translucency certification from an accredited source at time of hire.
• Willingness to float to meet organizational needs up to competency level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fetal echocardiography (FE) certification strongly preferred.
• Nasal Bone certification strongly preferred.
• NRP certification is a plus.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Friday may be full or half day).
• No call and no weekends required.
• May be required to float to other locations within the organization up to competency level.
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
