About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Iowa nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - First time travelers are welcome. - Experience with EPIC is required. - CNOR is preferred. - A skills checklist must be completed within one year of submission date. - One supervisory reference is required at the time of submission. - Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility. Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Patient ratios are 3:1. The types of surgery include outpatient surgeries and infusion patients. Infusion medications will include some titrations such as blood, platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, and antibiotics (NO chemotherapy).
