Production Technician
We are seeking a Production Technician to support our production lines by efficiently managing fluids and chemicals. This hands-on role requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment. You will be responsible for cleaning metal shavings from machine hoppers, checking and maintaining proper fluid levels, and performing fluid and oil changes as needed.
Responsibilities
- Clean metal shavings from machine hoppers.
- Check and refill coolant and fluid levels to maintain proper levels.
- Perform fluid and oil changes on production equipment.
- Monitor and track fluid levels accurately.
- Transport samples to the lab for testing and analysis.
- Maintain documentation using Microsoft Office, primarily Excel.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and used safely.
- Follow all safety protocols when handling chemicals.
- Stay on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift.

Work Environment
Work in a heavy industrial environment with a team of three, with plans for growth. Shift hours are 7:00am to 7:00pm, with a schedule of four days on and four days off. Initial training occurs Monday through Friday on the day shift. Safety attire includes a hard hat, high visibility vest, gloves, long sleeve pants, and a long sleeve shirt.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
