The firm’s Workplace Investment Navigator (WIN) platform is designed to help advisors grow their business and support clients more effectively. WIN operates without requiring client passwords or credentials, helping maintain security and trust. Fees are debited directly from the plan account, simplifying billing and administration. The company focuses on practical, advisor-friendly tools that make workplace retirement plan management more efficient.

Role Description The Operational Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Pittsburgh, PA, with the flexibility to work from home on a partial basis. The primary role responsibility is to aid with day-to-day operational processes that support the Workplace Investment Navigator (WIN) platform, including onboarding new advisor relationships, maintaining client account records, and coordinating with custodians and plan providers. The Operational Specialist will track workflow, monitor service requests, and ensure that transactions, fees, and account changes are processed accurately and on time. The role includes collaborating with sales and relationship teams to support advisor needs, preparing reports, and troubleshooting operational issues as they arise. This position also contributes to process improvements, documentation, and small operational projects that enhance efficiency and client experience.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to review data, identify discrepancies, and solve operational problems.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, financial professionals, and external partners in a clear and professional manner.
• Sales support experience or comfort working closely with sales and relationship teams to assist with advisor onboarding and service requests.
• Operations management capabilities, including workflow coordination, process adherence, and attention to detail in handling financial or account-related tasks.
• Project management skills to assist in planning, tracking, and implementing operational improvements or small-scale initiatives.
• Familiarity with retirement plans (401k/403b/457) or financial services operations/SIE is preferred.
• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, CRM or workflow systems); ability to learn new platforms quickly.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work setting.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
