Role Overview The Territory Operations Specialist supports the Sales and Distributor Enablement organization by overseeing all deliveries to and daily operations of warehouses, while contributing to the development of a world‑class sales organization through continuous improvement. The role involves operating open distribution territories and providing continuity of service to customers, as well as developing and executing orientation, mentoring, and educational opportunities for Independent Distributors. Position Responsibilities Operate company‑owned territories Possess all required skills, qualifications, licenses, and certifications to operate a commercial motor vehicle weighing over 10,000 pounds Provide territory‑specific orientation and shadowing for prospective distributors Develop and implement mentoring and educational programs for independent distributors Implement “Superior Quality Always” by maintaining Flowers Foods safety and internal audit standards Exercise discretion and independent judgment in all job duties Manage equipment inventories, basket resets, and store reset events Create strategies to support company sales initiatives, achieve growth and revenue goals, and meet all KPIs Develop customers while operating open distribution territories, including ordering, merchandising, and display opportunities Stay current on consumer insights and adjust sales strategies accordingly Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Sarbanes‑Oxley, Safety, etc.) Perform other duties deemed integral to the position, including completion of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures Maintain a valid DOT medical card Preferred Qualifications At least one year of warehouse, distribution, DSD, or route operations experience At least six months of experience leading and influencing others Demonstrated competency through combined training and experience Essential Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Hourly rate: $25.75 EEO Statement Flowers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
