TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry skills Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Experience with cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Amiodarone, Lasix, and Heparin Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may turn into a cancel and DNR. The unit will accept first-time travelers. Locals are accepted with a rate difference. Ratios are 1:5-6. The unit may see various types of patients requiring telemetry monitoring. Common conditions include chest pain, arrhythmias, and patients with pacemakers or defibrillators. The staff works closely with a heart failure navigator. Candidates must be comfortable with the use of cardiac drips as specified. There is a float requirement to other telemetry units. Weekend work includes 4 weekend days within a 6-week time track. Candidates must adhere to the call-off policy, which is strictly enforced. All candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting. Teamwork and adherence to behavioral expectations in all interactions with patients and staff are essential. All RTO must be pre-approved, with auto-approval of up to 7 days. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. No RTO is allowed during the first week of employment. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as required.
