Commercial Loan Processor

Base Pay $19.00 / Hour Employee Type Full Time Non-Exempt Responsibilities Process commercial, agricultural, and consumer loans from approval through closing and ongoing servicing. Prepare, review, and maintain loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies and regulations. Coordinate loan closings and work with lenders, customers, title companies, and other third parties to gather required documentation. Order, track, and review due diligence items, including appraisals, title work, insurance, flood determinations, and UCC filings. Board and maintain loan information within the Bank's systems and ensure loan files remain complete and organized. Monitor documentation, insurance, financial statements, and other ongoing loan requirements. Process loan payments, advances, renewals, modifications, and payoffs. Support lenders and customers by providing timely updates, answering questions, and resolving documentation exceptions. Assist with audits, loan reviews, regulatory examinations, and quality control activities. Collaborate with team members, cross-train within Loan Operations, and contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies. Requirements Experience in loan processing, loan operations, commercial lending, banking, or a related field preferred. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred. Commercial loan processing or documentation experience preferred. Strong knowledge of commercial loan documentation, lending terminology, and loan processing functions. Understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and loan documentation standards. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with lenders, customers, and internal teams. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking software systems. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining confidentiality.
