Delivery Manager (DM) Of Data Analytics S&CThe Delivery Manager (DM) of Data Analytics S&C is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, budgeting and motivating teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering exceptional business value to users through Data and AI.The DM will be responsible for our Snowflake Enterprise Data Lake and Analytics Warehouse Environments supporting Back Office requirements as well as the delivery of Spread and Commissions through Oracle Fusion.Core activities include managing multiple Information Services Managers (ISM) and their development teams, soliciting requirements, managing direct communications with high profile customers as well as Budgeting and managing Cloud based usage spend.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Provides thought leadership and direction to all aspects of products and services, and partners with Product Owners, Architecture, IS Application Teams, Operating Company BI Teams, Innovation Lab, Global Privacy Office, and Information Security Group to ensure data management roadmaps align with business strategyEstablishes direction and clear sense of purpose to inspire teams in creating their own connection and passion to the business goals; orients others around a shared vision for Data AnalyticsManages concurrent, high visibility Spread and Commission based products/projects/services in the Evolve projectHelp develop and promote responsible use of AI across new and existing projectsIdentifies risks, mitigation plans, operational readiness criteria, change management, deployment success factors, and drives deliverables for production launchesPartners closely with the Product team to develops/maintains methods to measure value; obtains feedback to ensure that efforts are meeting expectations for value, time, cost and qualityMaintains overarching responsibility for executing best practices approaches and methodologies (ex: Agile/ Scrum, SAFe, etc) for the support and sustainability of solutions.Supervisory or Management Responsibility:Management responsibility for the team, including hiring, leadership, development and accountability for performance.Plans and develops people organization including but not limited to: coaching and mentoring, succession planning, proactive identification of resource gaps, etc. for a team of onshore and offshore resourcesDrives team to improve sprint velocity and speed to marketEstablish operational/departmental objectives and goals.Evaluate conceptual aspects of technical designs of applications, systems and solutions to ensure sound decisions and investments are made in accordance with application architecture governance policies and standards.Approve plans to leverage strategic sourcing partners where appropriate.Budget Responsibility:Develops and manages budgetProduce monthly forecasts.Approves operational expenditures.Manage Cloud SaaS monthly utilizationDetermines variance of actual to forecast and take the appropriate action to correct variance.Shares fiscal responsibility for the organization's technology investments and future planning of the organization's spend, to avoid unnecessary and duplicative services and to maximize ROI.Establishes clear cost-of-service model and drives business cases for taking cost out of transactional processes through automation.QualificationsMinimum Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or equivalent; advanced degree desirableMinimum of 1 years of Information Technology experience required with a focus on AnalyticsMinimum of 10 years of leadership experienceExperience training and mentoring othersRecent experience managing Data Analytics and AI teams.Experience with OCI, AWS, Azure and GCPExperience with Snowflake and Oracle Fusion PlatformsStrong Experience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT technologies and data replication toolsExperience in managing on-shore and off-shore teamsSkills/Abilities:Superior at building relationships, collaboration and teamwork across the local and global organizationsEnergizes others towards a global mindsetStrong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidenceAbility to translate/communicate complex concepts to peers and business partnersProficient in all phases of product/project delivery lifecyclesStrong Data skills includingStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong technical project management and/or leadership skills including the ability to plan, organize, and steer activitiesStrong financial acumen with a sense of shareholder responsibilityAbility to travel without restrictionsCore Competencies:Build relationshipsDevelop peopleLead changeInspire OthersThink criticallyCommunicate clearlyCreate accountabilityBenefits Overview:Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
