As a Behavioral Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients with acute mental health needs in a dynamic inpatient behavioral health setting. Working alongside Registered Nurses and an interdisciplinary care team, you'll play a key role in promoting patient safety, stabilization, and recovery.From medication administration and patient monitoring to behavioral observation, crisis intervention, and care coordination, you'll help create a safe, therapeutic environment where patients can heal and thrive. If you bring strong clinical judgment, compassion, and a passion for patient-centered care, we invite you to join a team dedicated to transforming lives through exceptional behavioral health care.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute mental and behavioral health needs in an inpatient settingObserve, monitor, and document patient behavior, mental status, and safety risksAdminister medications as ordered and monitor for side effectsAssist with crisis intervention and de-escalation to promote unit safetySupport admissions, discharges, and transfers, including patient educationCollaborate with RNs, providers, and the interdisciplinary care teamComplete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation per policy and regulationsBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
