RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.

For all techs: The expected start date is based on Novant's schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. Novant will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.

Required skills/certs/exp: Minimum years of experience: 2 years. Minimum experience traveler: Unit will accept 1st time travelers. Locals accepted/rate difference: Yes. Work settings skills required: Adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, ER/trauma. Abdomen and pelvis skills required: Abdomen, MRA, MRV, female pelvis, MRCP, male pelvis. Cardiovascular skills required: MR aortogram, MR pulmonary & MR angio lower extremity with bilateral runoff. Chest skills required. Head and neck skills required: Brain, cranial nerves, face/soft tissue neck, head MRA, head MRV, neck MRV, orbits. Musculoskeletal skills required: Foot, hand, hip/bony pelvis, knee, lower & upper extremity long bones, shoulder, sternum, temporomandibular joint with/without contrast. Professional knowledge and skills: Isolation precautions, preparation and/or administration of contrast media & starting peripheral IVs. Spine skills required: Cervical, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx, spine trauma, thoracic & thoracic magnetic resonance angiography. Special imaging procedures required: CINE, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, image post-processing (apparent diffusion coefficient mapping, subtraction), MIP, MRP, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images.

Certs: ARRT MR, BLS preferred skills/certs/exp: Skills: Pediatric acute care, pediatric outpatient.

Job details: Ratios: Days/mids: 1:2; avg. daily census: 18 patients; 151 beds. Shift: 40 hours can be offered. Will accept 13 weeks! 8 hour eves; 06:30 - 15:00; Monday - Friday. Call requirement: Rotating weekend call requirement; it will be only one weekend required, 08/08/26 - 08/09/26; call shift is 19:00 - 06:30. Float requirement: None. Weekend requirement: Rotating weekend call requirement; it will be only one weekend required, 08/08/26 - 08/09/26; call shift is 19:00 - 06:30. Patient diagnoses: Varies.

Special procedures/unit details: MRI department supports outpatients, inpatients, and ED patients. Performs general MR exams. This excludes invasive procedures requiring anesthesia support, breast MRs, prostates, and biopsies. Special equipment: Medrad injector and GE Voyager; technologist will only be required to be competent using GE equipment. Unit systems: Pyxis, EPIC required, Visage, PACS, SBAR, email/Microsoft Teams. Scheduling type: M-F 06:30 - 15:00; per unit needs.
